Amardeep Devadason is Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, Creative and Digital Solutions at RRD, Asia. He is also the Global Head of Brand and Marketing for the business. During the course of his career, he has handled a number of operations groups across various verticals and geographies.

Amar has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Madras Christian College, Chennai and has professional post-graduate certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Innovation and Design Thinking from Columbia University, MIT Sloan, Tuck School of Business, Emeritus and IDEO U. Passionate about the English language, he used the 2 lockdown years to complete a BA in English literature and plans to work on a PhD in the future. He is a certified Leadership and Executive Coach with a special interest in coaching High-Performing Future Leaders and Women in Leadership. As an implacable foe of the status quo he believes that disruption is the key to innovation and growth. An early and enthusiastic adopter of all things digital, Amar supports RRD’s innovation lab and has helped build and nurture an open innovation ecosystem that clients can leverage.

On the soul side, he champions CSR activities and has helped build a network of employees, who are today, enthusiastic volunteers of several community and environment causes. He is an active Diversity, Equity and Inclusion champion and is a past Chairperson of the NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion initiative at the regional level and a current member of the National Council. He is passionate about collecting and telling powerful stories.

Outside work, Amar is a musician, an off-roading enthusiast, certified wheelchair basketball referee, builder of model aircraft and helps run a non-profit focused on animal welfare. He has spoken at and moderated sessions at a wide variety of Industry forums in APAC on a diverse range of subjects that include DE&I, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, Big Data, Future of Work, Storytelling and Social Media Branding strategies. As someone who, almost as a rule, prefers the company of animals to people, his fondest wish is to own an elephant and a winery.
