Amit Shah started his career after his formal education in Science Graduation and a Part-time Diploma in Printing Technology from the Government School of Printing Technology (GIPT), Mumbai. Post a small stint with a Private Offset pre-press company, he started out on his own as a first generation entrepreneur to form SPECTRUM SCAN PVT LTD in Jan 1988 providing basic pre-press services to offset printers in Mumbai.
Amit Shah is known as an innovator and a person who always challenges the trend by introducing new and innovative products. He is credited to having introduced a number of firsts in the Print and Retail industry especially in the FMCG, Telecom and Financial Sector.
Besides being the current President of BMPA, he is also recognized nationally and internationally for his work. Year after Year Spectrum is awarded one of the best quality Printers by National and International Graphic Associations like SGIA, FESPA, ASGIA, POPAI, SPAI, Print Week and many more. As of today Spectrum has to its credit more than 125 international and 170 national awards for excellence in printing and POP / POS.
The world currently is moving towards Sustainability and Spectrum has over the past 3 years made large inroads into providing sustainable POSM for both international and domestic markets.
